Mailing Lists Information
The OATHA mailing lists have been created to maintain an open channel of communication among the members of the Organization for the Advancements of Technologies in Housing Agencies. Each mailing list is specific to a vendor member who represents an available software or product. In order to participate and receive the flow of posted messages you need to subscribe to any of the available mailing lists:

The following article explains the steps involved in subscribing and unsubscribing to an existing mailing list. This is done by sending an E-mail message to the list.
To subscribe to a mailing list, please follow these steps:
- Open your E-mail client and create a new message.
- Enter listsrv@list.oatha.org as the To address.
- Enter subscribe listname in the Body of your message where listname is the name of the list you are subscribing to.
- Leave the subject of the message blank. If your mail program requires text in the Subject field, enter random characters.
- Send the E-mail; you will receive a confirmation if you successfully subscribed.
Example:
To unsubscribe to a mailing list, please follow these steps:
- Open your E-mail client and create a new message.
- Enter listsrv@list.oatha.org as the To address.
- Enter unsubscribe listname in the Body of your message where listname is the name of the list you are unsubscribing to.
- Leave the subject of the message blank. If your mail program requires text in the Subject field, enter random characters.
- Send the E-mail; you will receive a confirmation if you successfully unsubscribed.
Example:
To participate in a mailing list discussion, please follow these steps:
- Open your E-mail client and create a new message.
- Enter listname@list.oatha.org as the To address of the E-mail where listname is the name of the mailing list you are a member of (listed below).
- Enter a descriptive title in the Subject line.
- Send the E-mail; all members subscribed to this mailing list, including yourself, will receive the E-mail.
